About us:

The castle-like property “Villa Le Pergole”, enclosing 3 villas with a total of 10 holiday apartments of different sizes with lovely, in part covered terraces and balconies is situated in the exclusive district of Lugano-Castagnola, at the foot of the famous "Monte Bré" (the sunniest mountain in Switzerland). It is also by the start of the well-known, romantic path along the lake shore, leading to the picturesque village of “Gandria”. This exceptional residence reigns over the beautiful terraced garden with wonderful views over the Lake Lugano and the nearby mountains and is a sunny and peaceful place. It is reached along a quiet private road (blind alley) and is well away from the disturbance of urban and cantonal roads. The guests are welcome to a covered swimming pool (4 x 8 m) and a 100 sq. m. terrace for sunbathing.

All apartments are comfortable and tastefully furnished: TV, telephone, fitted kitchen with cooktop/oven, extractor hood, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and in part with microwave oven and aircondition. The terraces are well equipped with garden furniture. Cots are available, a baby sitting and/or daily cleaning service can be arranged and is charged separately.

The centre of Lugano is 2,5 km away, the Castagnola Post Office and the local bus stop 350 m (every 10 minutes), bus stop 100 m (every 30 minutes), and the landing jetty for the ship-line service 200 m. There is a restaurant 250 m away, food shops within 1,4 km, and the “Monte Bré” funicular 1,2 km. “Gandria” is 1,3 km along the delightful shore path which, after 600 m, passes by the small well run “San Domenico” lido.
